CATEC, together with the company Sánchez Romero Carvajal and the Osborne Group, have successfully completed the IBERSPAIN project, which seeks to improve and transform the processes of handling, cutting and inspection of high quality meat products, with a commitment to more efficient, safe and sustainable production.

Since January 2025, the free training programme ‘Green Hydrogen for technical profiles’ is being developed as part of the European project FUTURETECH_H2, in which CATEC participates, a cross-border initiative between Portugal and Spain that seeks to train the green hydrogen value chain.

We continue making progress in the GRANADA Project, which promotes the development of DED (Directed Energy Deposition) technologies applied to strategic materials such as titanium and INVAR—both of which are essential in today's aerospace sector. We are collaborating on this project with CITD Engineering & Technologies and AIMEN Technology Centre.

CATEC participates in the exchange of experiences of the technical courses on green hydrogen in Barrancos (Portugal)

In the framework of the European project FUTURETECH_H2, CATEC have participated in the town of Barrancos (Portugal) in a day of exchange of experiences between the students of the technical and non-technical training courses in green hydrogen, organised in parallel in Spain and Portugal for professionals from Alentejo and the cross-border area of Andalusia.

Our colleague José Manuel González has traveled to Charlotte (USA) to attend the ICUAS (International Conference on Unmanned Aircraft Systems) and present one of our latest contributions to the European project ‘Beeyonders’, where we tackle one of the most demanding environments for autonomous drone navigation: the interior of a tunnel under construction.
