In CATEC we have made our debut at the Job Fair of the University of Seville. On September 26th and 27th, we were with our own stand and our merchandising in the Sports Pavilion 'SADUS Ramóny Cajal' of the US, being the first time we attended this forum for meeting and attracting young national talent.
CATEC has been part of the organizer of the international event RosCón Spain 2024, the national conference on the Robot Operating System that was held at the University Pablo de Olavide in Seville on September 19 and 20, in collaboration with the Open Source Robotics Foundation.
CATEC has appointed Gracia Catalina Piñero as Head of the new space business incubator ESA BIC Andalusia, which will be located in Seville and has among its objectives to promote innovation and technological development in the space sector within the community, and make Andalusia a benchmark in the global ecosystem of space startups.
In early August, CATEC once again attended the MRS (Multi-robot Systems) Summer School at the Czech Technical University (CTU) of Prague. The RED 5R, a project in which CATEC has participated, has successfully completed and become a state reference in the development and application of robotic technologies in perception, interaction and cognition for intelligent manufacturing.
In the framework of the RED 5R collaborative project, which has just ended, CATEC has successfully developed in its pilot factory a demonstrator for the manual and aerospace industry, implementing technologies such as cognitive and service robotics systems, and artificial intelligence applications for the industry.
