The Scientific Advisor of our Center has been awarded for his extensive research work in the field of robotics and its contributions in unmanned aerial systems and drones

Last November, the University of Seville recognized the career of excellence of some researchers with the FAMA Prize, that award the research experience of teachers of the University in each of the five major areas of knowledge. One of them was the professor Anibal Ollero Baturone, scientific advisor of our Center, who was awarded with the FAMA Prize for the Research Career in the Engineering and Architecture Branch.

The jury of the awards highlighted the extensive research work of the prize-winner in the field of robotics, in which his contributions at the national and international level stand out in relation to aerial robots and unmanned aerial systems (UAS / drones).

Thus, he especially highlighted his leadership in knowledge transfer through his multiple European projects and contracts from the US and CATEC, and his extensive scientific production. He also stressed that it has been recognized by maximum distinctions in scientific societies and national and international awards, which has helped to consolidate the presence of the US and CATEC in forums of very high scientific-technological relevance.
