On 27 November 2025, dozens of experts will gather in Madrid to discuss how artificial intelligence, big data and the data economy can revolutionise the energy sector.
The National Congress, entitled “Re: Energy” and organised by EIFEDE (a platform to which CATEC belongs), (Innovation Ecosystem for the Promotion of the Data Economy in the Energy Sector), will take place at the UPM Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineering (José Gutiérrez Abascal 2) and will bring together professionals, institutions, companies and technology centres with a view to promoting a sustainable energy transition.
The event will bring together more than 30 speakers in six thematic panels (data analytics and predictive models, AI in the energy sector, regulation and ethics, dual technologies, energy communities and communication in the energy sector).
Attendees will learn how large energy companies are using AI and Big Data to transform their business ideas, how energy data is shaping strategic decisions, the regulations governing AI, the application of robotics and cybersecurity in the sector, collaborative strategies between communities and how to communicate technological change in a way that builds trust and strengthens each company’s reputation.
A day in which round tables and presentations will explore the path towards a responsible energy transition and enable partnerships to be established with experts in the sector to tackle this technological challenge, which is already affecting the operations of both SMEs and large companies.
Those interested can consult the schedule and the full programme at this link and on the official website of the “Re: Energy” Congress, where they can also reserve their place or ask any questions they may have about the event. The organisers will also answer any questions at contacto@re-energia.es.
