Our Center was part of the Scientific Committee of the event and gave several lectures on some of its latest projects and works developed in collaboration with other companies and organizations

CATEC has participated in the 13th National Congress of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) which was held in the School of Engineering of the University of Seville from 5 to 8 May, and in which the greatest experts, researchers and professionals in this field in Spain were gathered. Organized by the Spanish Association of Non-Destructive Testing (AEND), this event is configured as a space for exchanging knowledge and sharing of the latest developments and trends in the field of NDT.

CATEC has had a very active presence in this Congress. It has been part of the Scientific Committee, through Fernando Lasagni, Head of Materials and Processes, and has given several lectures on some of their projects and work carried out in the area NDT, in collaboration with other companies and organizations. Specifically, CATEC participated in the presentation and exhibition of about 12 works, through its researchers and engineers, where cases of applicability and development of non-destructive solutions in various industrial fields were presented.

In addition, researchers at Materials and Processes CATEC staged a demonstration about structural health monitoring (SHM) on aircraft component made of carbon fiber. Finally, the technical staff of the center was in charge of the presidency of various tables of the conference program.
