This conference is intended to be a forum where discuss ideas and review works related to the UAVs and will have the participation of prestigious experts and scientists from universities and technology and research centres and companies
Experts and scientists, academics, technological and research centres and companies related to unmanned air systems (UAS) and unmanned air vehicles (UAVs) will meet in Seville at the First Workshop on Research, Development and Education on Unmanned Aerial Systems (RED-UAS 2011), a project organized by the Centre for Advanced Aerospace Technologies (CATEC) and the University of Seville which is going to be hold from the 31st November to the 1st December.
CATEC will strengthen its position as one of the most outstanding I&R centres on UAVs currently in the world thanks to this conference which is intended to be a forum where discuss ideas and review works related to the unmanned systems and its main technological applications.
This event has the financial support of the Spanish Technological Platform for Robotics, the Spanish Aerospace Platform and the Spanish Technology for Aerospace, Aeronautics and Defence (TEDAE) and will have the participation of researchers and experts from different countries like Germany, France, Switzerland, Sweden, Canada, United States, Australia, United Kingdom, Turkey, Portugal and Norway. Likewise, it will be participated by R&D&I managers, researchers and technicians from companies and national and international entities like Cassidian, Indra, Boeing, ISDFE, Elimco, Sener, Aertec, and CATEC, among other institutions.
During the first day, articles and research projects on methods, technologies and applications with UAS will be presented by the participants. During the second day, exhibitions and demonstrations of unmanned systems will be shown by companies and entities.
