The meeting had the participation of an examiner of the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office, who told the participants the conditions and necessary steps to ask for the registration of patents and trademarks

CATEC in collaboration with the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office, entity that depends of the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism organized last 24th September a training day in Intellectual and Industrial Property in order to let the participants know the main aspects related to the protection of knowledge and the process of drafting and patent prosecution.

The meeting counted with the collaboration of the Aerópolis Technology Park and Hélice Cluster and gathered over 30 professionals and technicians of different enterprises and entities related to the aeronautic industry in Andalusia.

The working day had the inestimable help of Mr Alberto Casado Fernández, examiner of Patents and Trademarks, who after giving a general paper about industrial and intellectual property, explained the participants the conditions and necessary steps for drafting a patent applications and product brands in Spain, as well as registration. The activity was successful and of great interest for the participants, who apart from learning more about the industrial property area could ask questions and submit their doubts.
