The project “FUTURETECH_H2: Promotion and Technological Development of the Green Hydrogen Industry,” part of the 3rd Call for the Spain-Portugal Cross-Border Cooperation Program Interreg VI-A (POCTEP) 2021-2027, in which CATEC participates, now has its own corporate website, which can be accessed at: www.futuretech-h2.eu.

Through this project, executed by a consortium of six partners from the Alentejo-Portugal and Andalusia regions (Advanced Center for Aerospace Technologies-CATEC, Adral, Polytechnic Institute of Portalegre, University of Évora, Nao Victoria Foundation, and FEDEME, Federation of Metal Entrepreneurs, as the leading entity), the aim is to develop the green hydrogen value chain in this cross-border area. The project seeks to promote and disseminate, through various actions, the virtues and capabilities of this energy vector as the industry of the future, during the period 2023-2025.

The launch of this website represents a highly useful tool in achieving the dissemination and communication objectives set in the project. Thus, the main purpose of this site is to provide users with information about FUTURETECH_H2, as well as to offer corporate and service information that brings benefits, dissemination, and added value to the project. All this is based on a modern design, fully optimized for mobile users, under the following premises:

  • A clear and accessible communication structure that allows internet users easy access to information, as well as optimal indexing by search engines.
  • An attractive graphic design.
  • A solid technical support, suitable for the functional needs that may arise.

The website features a simple structure, supported by several sections: PROJECT (objectives/activities); CONSORTIUM; NEWS; EVENTS; CONTACT. Additionally, the page is available in two languages: Spanish/Portuguese, thus facilitating navigation for users from both cross-border regions.

The development of this website has been co-financed by the European Union through the Interreg VI-A Spain-Portugal (POCTEP) 2021-2027 Program.
