The centre will participate also at another international event: The Emerging Technologies (Em Tech) Conference at the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where groundbreaking business leaders and senior researchers will get together

CATEC will be attending the two main national technology events on the 25th and 26th October in Málaga: the Technology Conference 2011 and the VI National Technology Centres Meeting, both of them organized by the Spanish Federation representing Technology Centres (FEDIT).

The mission of the Technology Conference 2011 is to connect capacities from national research centres with the technology demands from the industry. This is a pioneering initiative in Spain which in intended to meet research results of Technology Centres, Academia and Research Public Organism with companies. CATEC will have a stand where technology capacities and main research lines will be exhibited. Organizers expect to bring together more than 40 research centres and 200 companies during this first edition.

Likewise, CATEC scientists and researchers will attend at the VI National Technology Centres Meeting, which is an annual forum where exchange ideas and knowledge between R&D&I experts from all over Spain, who will be able to share interests and reach agreement of collaboration for developing together technology projects.

This meeting includes another international benchmark event where CATEC is also going to take part: The Technology Conference of the MIT Technology Review, the scientific publication of the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which is going to be hold on the 26th October to discuss the technological innovations that are driving the future of our global economy and changing the face of life as we know it. This meeting, which has been hold in Boston for 12 years, will have for the very first time its replica in Europe and will bring together the world’s most groundbreaking business leaders, senior technologists, academics, investors, and entrepreneurs.
