The European Association of Aerospace Student (Euroavia), through its delegation in Seville, will organise the event that will gather European students, companies, experts, and professionals specialised in aeronautics

Seville will host the first “UAVs and Flight Control Systems Symposium” between the 4th and 9th of March. This initiative is being organised by the Sevillian delegation of Euroavia, which intends to become a forum for discussion and exchange of knowledge about new technologies and products related to this sector of the international aerospace industry. This event will gather hundreds of European students that are members of Euroavia, companies, experts, and professionals specialised in aeronautics. The symposium will release projects and works developed with this kind of system in the Andalusian fields of business, sciences and R&D.

This amazing event is sponsored by the Center for Advanced Aerospace Technologies (CATEC), the Aerospace Cluster Hélice, EADS, Skylife Engineering, and the Spanish Official College of Aeronautical Engineers (COIAE / IBWA), among other institutions. International and national notable speakers (some of them experts from our centre) have confirmed their attendance to the symposium.

The event includes a programme of conferences, workshops, and trips. The participants will visit some institutions, such as the headquarters of the National Institute for Aerospace Technology (INTA) situated in El Arenosillo test centre near Mazagón (Huelva) or CATEC’s facilities. They will get to know the laboratories and workshops of the avionics area and the unmanned aerial systems, as well as some international pioneering initiatives.
