Our colleague Javier Garrido (in the picture), PhD student and Senior Avionics Systems Engineer, participated a few days ago in an interesting online webinar, organized by Euro Clusters, about Industry 5.0, with examples of European projects in robotics, 3D printing, drones, etc.
He was joined by the technical manager of the aerospace sector and production processes of the CTA (Technological Corporation of Andalusia), Silvia de los Santos; and the director of Innovation of the IRT Jules Verne, Guy CAVEROT.
Javier had the opportunity to present CATEC’s UAV applications for the construction sector, specifically 3D road mapping applications through photogrammetry, and the UAVs we have for Inspection and Maintenance: AEROCAM, HYBRID and AEROX. He also commented on these projects OMICRON, BEEYONDERS and H2020 PILOTING Project, in which we participate as partners.
