CATEC closed with a great balance of meeting, business contacts and participation in ADM Seville and ILA Berlin two of the most important international events in the aviation industry
CATEC has given new impetus to its activity as a technological and support center to R&D for the aerospace industry with its presence in major trade shows and business meetings of the international industry. This has strengthened its collaboration with customers and partners, and has held numerous contacts and business meetings with companies and leading institutions of aeronautics. Thus, our Centre participated in a new edition of ILA Berlin last May, where it attended as a part of the Andalusian official delegation and presented all its portfolio, infrastructure and technological capabilities to develop common projects with companies of this sector.
Equally remarkable was the presence in the international meeting ADM Seville 2014, the most important event of the aerospace and defense industry in our country which had once again had the special support of our technological center. The event, organized by the Junta de Andalucía, closed with a remarkable success of assistance of the leading companies and industry players in Europe, and has meant its consolidation as the ideal showcase to encourage collaboration between firms in Andalusia, Spanish and European, as well as access to new business opportunities.
CATEC had its own stand where, in addition to presenting their main research and the Center for Experimental Flight ATLAS, held numerous interviews and business meetings and visited by various authorities, including the President of the Junta de Andalucía Susana Díaz. CATEC also offered a series of lectures and technical sessions in the official program of the event on the latest trends and technological advances in different areas of interest to the sector, including the latest achievements in leading European projects. Participation in ADM Seville closed on the final day of the event with a tour of the facilities CATEC by officers and directors of several companies and organizations in the international sector.
