Alan B. Krueger, a renowned American economist and adviser to former President Barack Obama, recently visited our facilities in order to see first- hand our technology related to aerospace sector.
The visit was organized by the Deputy Director of External Relations of the Engineering School of the University of Seville, Maria Angeles Martin Prats, also president of the Skylife Engineering company. The visit included a tour of the work areas of our Center and the presentation of projects and main lines of research developed by CATEC, such as unmanned systems, automation and robotics or Industry 4.0.
Alan Kruger, a professor at Princeton University, was chairman of the Council of Economic Advisors of the former US president. Barack Obama and member of his cabinet from 2011 to 2013. He was also Undersecretary of Economic Policy and Chief Economist of the US Department of the Treasury in 2009-10, and Chief Economist in the Department of Labor in 1994-95. He is also the founding director of the Princeton University Survey Research Center.
