The Center for Advanced Aerospace Technologies had an active participation in the largest drone fair in Spain, taking part of the conference program and the organization of the UNVEX 2021 air show.

CATEC was one of the 70 entities and companies that attended UNVEX 2021 from July 7 to 9, the most important drone event in Spain.

It counted with its own stand from which it showed its capacity as the main technology center for small and light UAS in our country. CATEC offers a long and extensive experience in the development of applications related to UAS / drones and aerial robotics, thanks to its involvement in more than 50 R&D projects since 2008, successfully developing a multitude of innovative technologies.

In addition, the CATEC’s CTO of Avionics and Systems, Dr. Antidio Viguria, participated in the UNVEX conference program, specifically in a panel on the future of the drone sector through applications.

On the other hand, our technology center has played an active role in organizing the aerial demonstrations that were part of UNVEX, which took place at the Rozas (Lugo) aerodrome, where a dozen unmanned aerial systems participated.
