During the visit, accompanied by the Director-General for the Promotion of Entrepreneurship and Continuing Education, Francisco Javier González Navarro, he was able to see our facilities and technological capabilities at first hand, as well as attend several specially organised technology demonstrations and learn about some of the most significant innovation projects in which we are currently involved.

CATEC held a demonstration and training day at the Lourizán Forestry Research Center (Pontevedra) as part of the European Hub Iberia Agrotech (HIBA+) project. The event focused on the use of UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems) technologies applied to precision agriculture, in collaboration with DATAlife, also a partner in the project.

On January 16, CATEC attended the final closing conference of the OMICRON H2020 Project, entitled 'Old roads, new technologies: intelligent and safe management of road assets', which was held at the headquarters of the Colegio de Ingenieros de Caminos, Canales y Puertos in Madrid, organized in collaboration with Infra ROB and Heron EU Project.

From 9 to 12 December, CATEC has organized at the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Zagreb (Croatia), a Research Training course within the AeroSTREAM project (Strengthening Research and Innovation Excellence in Autonomous Aerial Systems), in which we are participating.
