This initiative, which forms part of the ‘Science and Innovation Missions’ programme and is funded by the TransMisiones 2023 initiative, aims to design, optimise and manufacture various metal devices using additive manufacturing (3D printing), incorporating innovative artificial intelligence (AI) tools.
The initiative has concluded its development with final trials and tests carried out in France, which have validated a new advanced system for the inspection and maintenance of large infrastructures for the Oil & Gas sector through the combination of aerial robotic platforms, non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques and digital tools.
